Automatic Vacuum Forming Machines

Starview's FOM Series vacuum forming machines are designed for medium production runs. Standard forming areas of 20 x 30 inches, 25 x 30 inches, 25 x 40 inches and 30 x 40 inches are offered.

Machines are roll fed with the full formed sheets guillotined at the end of the cycle. Plug/grid assist and male/female mold capability are available as options. FOM Series machines will run most thermoforming grade films.

Why a perfect fit?

Starview’s FOM Series automatic vacuum formers are designed for medium run thermoforming applications. The FOM Series machines will form most common materials such as PVC, PET, Polystyrene, ABS, etc. The FOM Series is offered with standard form areas of 20” x 30”, 25” x 30”, 25” x 40” and 30” x 40” as well as custom sizes to meet customer requirements.

These machines include an adjustable air cushion to maintain plastic flatness and prevent sagging before the mold reaches the end of its upper travel. Optional features such as Plug/grid assist, Male/female mold capability and inline preheat systems increase the versatility of this machine.

For units with increased production capacity and inline die cutting please consider Starview’s IF Series or IPV Series thermoforming machines.
